Damn, that workaround sucks.

It seems that, more generally, Apple is reluctant to give users optionality when they feel they can accurately solve the need on their own. The AirPods Max doesn't have an "off" button, right?

And yeah, totally agree Apple has done sheet like this before across other features. Can't be too mad, though... they're ditching the TouchBar đŸĒĻ đŸ’ƒ âŖī¸

It doesn't, lol. But that actually isn't an issue. Even if the AirPods Max were turned off the iPhone would still get activated đŸ¤Ļâ€â™‚ī¸

Gotcha. And yea I wasn't suggesting that'd make it work; it was an example of Apple not giving the user control.
